Full Description

We are looking for a Senior Control Room Operator to join our friendly and professional security team at The O2. This is a crucial role in ensuring The O2 and wider site is a safe place for our guests and employees.

You will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of control room duties including; alarm response, CCTV monitoring, Access and Egress control, Communication links, liaising as appropriate with Venue Management, the Managing Agents, Tenants for the Entertainments District, ICON Outlet & Peninsula Square, Emergency Services, other Law Enforcement Departments, Local Government and Transport Services.

You will support the delivery of the Site Wide Emergency Planning Strategy and Plan in conjunction with the appropriate authorities and colleagues and ensure you comply with the control room operational security standards and the relevant legislation.

We’re looking for someone with previous Control Room experience, who knows how to use radios, access control systems and operating and managing CCTV systems / data. You’ll need to have an SIA CCTV license.

As we work in a customer facing environment, you’ll need to be a people person, committed to providing the highest level of visitor care; along with a strong track record in building good working relationships across a wide range of business areas.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and has a flexible and positive attitude to work.

We’ll give you all the training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work at The O2, so you will be set up for success.

Where: You’ll be based in the control room at The O2 arena, nearest tube is North Greenwich.
