About the role:
As our PR & Communications Manager for the Marketing and Communications team at The O2, you will:
1. Develop a media relations strategy and contribute to PR campaigns that focus on promoting The O2 as a destination, incorporating ICON Outlet, attractions and F&B;
2. Manage an efficient and effective press office function and deliver positive and on-message coverage across all AEG businesses;
3. Oversee and develop the media database ensuring the right contacts are included and targeted;
4. Understand the key messages and brand guidelines of the different areas of the business; and
5. Develop and maintain strong contacts within the industry, key stakeholders, partners and media.
About you: We’re looking for an experienced PR and Communications professional who has a highly developed knowledge of PR, and a passion for media relations and understanding of our industry.
You’ll have the ability to seek out new opportunities and create engaging PR plans.
With people management experience and the ability to manage and motivate people, you will have an innovative and creative mind-set and a solution focussed approach.
You’ll have excellent communication skills across written, digital, face-to-face and social media platforms, with the ability to build good internal and external relationships with and influence a wide level and range of internal and external stakeholders.
