Full Description

We’re looking for someone to join the production team at Eventim Apollo on a zero hour contract as a Duty Production Manager.

You will ensure safe operation of a production during ‘load in’, or ‘show’ and load out’; liaise with promoter reps, tour managers, and touring crew throughout an event day; and ensure anything rigged on the house fly system and built on stage or in the auditorium is done so in a safe and secure manner, according to best practice.

You’ll need to have a sound working knowledge of the venue, assisting incoming productions as needed; and enforce venue policy and take action to ensure a safe working environment where necessary.

Whilst taking part in the venue security briefing and communicate show stop procedures to incoming productions; you’ll advise on doors opening, ensuring the show runs on time in line with ticket information and venue curfews.

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in large scale music, theatre or entertainment venues or events who has knowledge of lighting, audio, video, pyrotechnics and SFX, staging, barrier systems and rigging.

With experience in a management role spanning Production and/or production related Health and Safety; you’ll have great communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with a range of people.

If you have knowledge and experience of counterweight flying systems; experience in event operations – show stop procedures, evacuations, and security briefings; and experience in using AutoCAD and are IOSH or NEBOSH qualified – that would be advantageous!
