Full Description

The Job: You will manage and monitor all stock within the venue, using our stock control system; maintain strict stock control and manage all wastage, ensuring stock is managed efficiently and effectively within budget and rota and manage staff for deliveries and work during the day.

You will also maintain high standards of tidiness within the venue and to report any damage or breach in Health & Safety.

You: With previous cellar experience including stock control management, you will have also worked in a venue environment.

We are looking for proactive, positive, flexible and approachable people. You must have a genuine desire and ability to work with the public in a front line, customer focused setting; and thrive in a very busy environment, maintaining patience and empathy when working under pressure.

You'll be an excellent communicator, confident in engaging and working with all kinds of people, both internal and external.

Previous bar experience is preferred, along with cash handling and customer service experience. You will need to be flexible and be able to work Friday and Saturday nights amongst others.

Important Information:

Due to the nature of the work, you must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. You must also be able to lift and move barrels in accordance with Health and Safety procedures (barrels weigh 55 lbs).

We are holding interviews in May 2019 and you must be able to start work with us in May 2019.
