Want to work at The O2 which was recently named “Venue of the Decade”? We’re looking for an Assistant Venue Manager for a maternity cover contract.

You’ll be our Venue manager’s right hand person, assisting them in managing our front of house teams and security suppliers providing training where necessary; planning of VIP packages and working on complex packages as Team Leader; and monitoring the Venue Manager mailbox, ensuring enquiries are responded in a friendly and efficient way.

You’ll carry out the role of Duty Front of House Manager on allocated events and deliver exceptional levels of service to our customers; and assist the Venue Managers by taking radios cover shifts on multiple shows and by working as an assistant on complex events such as ATP, NBA, NTA and The Brits.

We’re looking for someone with previous event experience working in a high footfall arena/venue and an understanding on industry guidelines and event management planning.

You’ll need to be resilient and organised to deal with the high volume of events we run and maintain empathy even when working under pressure.

With excellent communications skills, you’ll be a solutions focused problem solver who loves working as part of a high achieving team.
