About the role: The O2 Technical team are looking for a Deputy Production Manager to assist with the delivery of our amazing events and to ensure a successful operation at The O2!

You will support the delivery of the production operation in the arena and special event spaces, ensuring safe and operationally efficient events.

Providing support and advice on production related matters to external and internal departments; you will provide event plans, compliant to venue H&S procedures and current guidance and legislation.

You will deliver and plan venue event conversions to ensure all event formats are delivered against budget and approved SOPs in the required timeframe.

You will be responsible for the direct line management of the Production Supervisors and support the Production Manager in managing, servicing, storing and upkeep of all The O2 equipment that falls under the ownership of the production team.

About you: We are looking for someone with production experience in a similar size venue; a good working knowledge of Production Rigging and IOSH or NEBOSH H&S qualifications.

A competent AutoCAD user with the desire to improve; we are looking for an organised and flexible person who has a commitment to delivering the best.

With experience in motivating and managing people, you will be ambitious and keen to learn. You’ll have excellent communication skills with the ability to build good internal and external relationships with and influence a wide level and range of people.

We’re looking for a positive team player who can manage their time and workload effectively and be able to use their initiative when required.

You will need to be able to work flexibly across a 7 day week and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

When: First round interviews will take place between 24-26 July and second round interviews will take place on 30 July.
